Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, announced that university students with superior abilities obtained advanced positions in the summit meeting for student initiatives of Egyptian universities under the slogan “Innovators with a Difference 3,” which was held at the headquarters of the Leadership Development Institute in Helwan, where the students obtained first place with a new tourism initiative. To integrate the role of people of determination into tourism. And providing them with means of comfort, they also won third place in the Alashanak Application initiative and an educational and service platform for people of determination.

El-Kased stressed that students with exceptional abilities have a distinguished position in the university community, noting the university’s keenness to provide them with all the necessary support to develop their skills, hone their experiences and knowledge, and highlight their creativity. He explained that the state under the new republic took important steps towards people with disabilities, including The Able with a Difference Fund Law aims to enable people with disabilities to obtain their rights, empower them, train them, and integrate them into society.
The initiative comes based on the directives of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and under the patronage of Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Dr. Ahmed Al-Qassed, President of the University, and under the supervision of Dr. Karim Hammam, Director of the Institute for Leadership Preparation and Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education for student activities. The students participated at the university under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Shaheen, Director General of the General Administration for Student Welfare, Osama Deif, Director of the Leadership Preparation Department, and Hala Barakat, Supervisor of the delegation.
The forum included lectures and workshops presented by faculty members specialized in the field to support the talents of people of determination and enhance their role in the process of sustainable development.
