Prof. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, conducted an inspection visit today to Manshiyat Sultan University Hospital to follow up on workflow regularity and ensure the quality of medical services provided to patients, accompanied by Prof. Mohamed Samir, the hospital director.

During the tour, the President inspected several medical departments and units, including outpatient clinics, pediatric intensive care units, neonatal incubators, dialysis unit, operating rooms, laboratories, radiology unit, and sterilization unit, to ensure the efficiency and continuity of healthcare services within the hospital.

He also monitored the attendance of medical shift teams, including physicians and nursing staff, and checked the overall cleanliness and discipline across all departments. He emphasized the importance of adhering to quality standards and infection control protocols to ensure the provision of safe and high-quality healthcare services for patients and visitors.

The President noted that Manshiyat Sultan University Hospital includes more than 18 outpatient clinics, and affirmed that the university is working on further developing medical services through expanding the number of clinics and specialties to meet citizens’ needs and enhance healthcare delivery in the governorate.

He added that the hospital employs a distinguished medical and nursing staff, including 55 physicians and 95 nurses, in addition to 24 inpatient beds and 23 dialysis units, reflecting the scale of healthcare services provided to the community.

Prof. El-Kased affirmed that Menoufia University places great importance on the development of university hospitals and the enhancement of their efficiency as a key pillar of healthcare and community service, emphasizing the university’s continuous efforts to support hospitals with modern medical equipment and qualified healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
