Prof. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, announced that the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education has issued its decision granting accreditation to the Faculty of Electronic Engineering, in a new achievement added to the series of successes achieved by the university in the field of quality assurance and academic accreditation. This accomplishment reflects the continuous development witnessed by the university across its academic and research sectors.
The University President affirmed that this accreditation comes within the framework of the university’s strategy aimed at advancing the educational system and developing academic programs according to the latest national and international standards, thereby contributing to the preparation of scientifically and professionally qualified graduates capable of competing in local, regional, and international labor markets, while supporting the Egyptian state’s directions toward digital transformation and technological advancement.
Prof. Ahmed El-Kased expressed his pleasure at this achievement, emphasizing that it coincides with Menoufia University’s celebrations of its Golden Jubilee and the fiftieth anniversary of its establishment. He pointed out that the continuous accreditation of the university’s faculties reflects the tremendous efforts exerted by all university affiliates and the ongoing support for implementing comprehensive quality standards and institutional excellence.
The University President noted that the Faculty of Electronic Engineering is considered one of the distinguished faculties in engineering and technological fields, as it plays a pivotal role in preparing specialized engineering cadres capable of keeping pace with modern developments in electronics, communications, and control systems, thereby supporting labor market needs and development projects.
Prof. Ahmed El-Kased also extended his sincere congratulations and appreciation to the faculty family under the leadership of Prof. Gamal Mahrous, Dean of the Faculty, as well as the vice deans, faculty members, teaching assistants, administrative staff, and students, valuing their sincere efforts and teamwork spirit that contributed to achieving this distinguished accomplishment and obtaining accreditation.
The University President also expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the team of the University Quality Assurance Center under the supervision of Prof. Wafaa Zahran, Director of the Center, in recognition of their outstanding efforts and diligent work in supporting and developing the quality assurance and accreditation system within the university’s faculties. He affirmed that their dedication and commitment played a prominent role in enhancing the level of academic and administrative performance and following up on the implementation of quality standards according to the latest approved systems, thereby strengthening the university’s position and contributing to achieving its goals toward institutional excellence and academic accreditation.
Prof. Ahmed El-Kased confirmed that Menoufia University is continuing to implement its strategic plan toward completing the accreditation of all faculties and academic programs and applying for institutional accreditation for the university as a whole, in a way that enhances its standing among Egyptian and regional universities.
