President of Menoufia University Reviews Information Systems and Digital Transformation Efforts and Highlights the Role of the Information Center in Enhancing University Services

Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, attended a meeting held at the Faculty of Computers and Information in the presence of Prof. Sobhy Sharaf, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Hatem Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty and Supervisor of the Information Center. The meeting aimed to follow up on work progress and review the latest developments in digital transformation and electronic services across the university.

The President of the University emphasized the vital role of the Information Center as one of the main pillars supporting institutional development and stressed the importance of continuously updating systems and adopting the latest technologies to ensure the highest levels of efficiency and information security.

During the meeting, attended by Prof. Amr Mosaad, Supervisor of the Electronic Portal and the Postgraduate Studies Mechanization Unit, Eng. Shaaban Mansour, General Director of the Digital Transformation Center, and several engineers from the center, the participants reviewed the center's performance indicators and the achievements made in developing the technological infrastructure, updating databases, and supporting electronic systems used in managing educational processes and administrative services within the university's faculties.

The University President also discussed plans to further develop the Information Center and mechanisms for improving the efficiency of digital systems in line with the state's digital transformation strategy. He underscored the importance of enhancing the quality of services provided to faculty members, employees, and students and facilitating administrative procedures throughout the university.

Prof. Hatem Mohamed presented the developments made to the university's electronic portal to align it with the latest global technological systems. The upgraded portal aims to improve the quality of services offered to students, faculty members, and employees, enhance internal and external communication efficiency, and provide a unified platform encompassing all digital services of the university. These efforts support the university's digital transformation plans, improve institutional performance, and reinforce the university's image in the fields of technology and smart services.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Prof. Ahmed El-Kased directed the concerned parties to continue regularly monitoring performance indicators and implementing development plans according to a defined timetable that achieves the university's goals of comprehensive digital transformation and enhances the efficiency of electronic services.
