The college’s participation in honoring the winning projects

The Faculty of Computers and Information - Menoufia University participated in honoring the winning projects in the National Initiative for Smart Green Projects in the governorates of (Menoufia - Kafr El Sheikh - Gharbia) under the care of :- His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of Menoufia University Which is organized by Menoufia Governorate in its second session as part of the Egyptian state’s preparations to participate in the COP 28 climate conference, which is hosted by the United Arab Emirates next November in Dubai. The college has participated in (2) projects, which are: “AUTOMATED GREEN PARKING SYSTEM project, a project to support and develop a technological waste classification and sorting system GREEN EGYPT” for the category of small local projects, a decent life, under the supervision of Dr. Eman Moslehi, a teacher in the College of Computer Sciences Department. The projects were presented in the exhibition held on the sidelines of the conference, which was opened by: Mr. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Qased, President of Menoufia University, and Major General Ibrahim Abu Laymoun, Governor of Menoufia. In the presence of :- Major General Gamal Nour El-Din, Governor of Kafr El-Sheikh, Dr. Tariq Rahmy, Governor of Gharbia, Dr. Ahmed Farag Al-Qasid, President of Menoufia University, Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Hazem Saleh, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Dr. Arabi Kishk, President of Delta University. Technology in Quesna, Dr. Sherif Mohamed Ali, Vice President of Sadat City University for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Hatem Mohamed Sayed Ahmed, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information - Menoufia University, Dr. Hamdy Moussa, Vice President of the College for Education and Student Affairs, the Deputy Governors of Kafr El-Sheikh and Gharbia, and Major General Imad Youssef, General Secretary, Major General Walid Al-Bili, Assistant Secretary-General of Menoufia Governorate, Eng. Najwa Al-Ashery, Secretary-General of Gharbia Governorate, Colonel Ahmed Salama, Director of the Hayat Karima Foundation Office, Dr. Amal Ghoneim, coordinator of Hayat Karima Foundation in Menoufia, heads of the Quesna Industrial Zones and the Shebin El-Kom Free Zone, and a number of executive leaders. Civil society organizations, entrepreneurs, and owners of winning projects from various entities in the participating governorates. The projects submitted by the college were among the top 10 projects in terms of the required specifications and standards. Major General Ibrahim Abu Laymoun, Governor of Menoufia, presented a certificate of appreciation and a shield To Dr. Iman Moslehi in honor of her as supervisor of the winning projects by the college.
