The "100 Days of Health" Presidential Initiative

Under the auspices of: His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi Under the supervision of: Prof. Dr. Ahmed Farag El-Qased, President of Menoufia University Prof. Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development In an atmosphere brimming with interest in community health, the Faculty of Computers and Information at Menoufia University hosted a delegation from the Menoufia Health Affairs Directorate on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, which included: Dr. Amr Mostafa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Menoufia Dr. Suzy Hamed, General Coordinator of Presidential Initiatives Dr. Jihan El-Shazly, Director of Shebin District Administration This comes as part of the "100 Days of Health" presidential initiative, in cooperation with Menoufia University, with the aim of improving citizens' health and providing free, high-quality medical services. The delegation was received by Professor Dr. Hatem Mohamed Sayed Ahmed, Dean of the College, who expressed his happiness with the fruitful cooperation with health authorities, emphasizing the importance of hosting such a health initiative, which contributes to raising health awareness both on and off campus. He was accompanied by Professor Mohamed Abdel Ghani El-Barmawy, Director General of the College. The health initiative included free screenings in several areas, including: supporting women's health through early detection of cancerous tumors and breast cancer treatment; maternal and fetal health; early detection of chronic diseases and kidney disease; and monitoring the health of the elderly. Medical examinations were conducted on 50 individuals from various staff members of the theoretical complex. The event was attended by the Director General of the College, the heads of the College's departments (Ms. Nisreen Abdel Hadi, Director of the Youth Care Department; Ms. Sahar Gohar, Director of the Graduate Studies Department; Ms. Sara Hamdy Bat, Director of the Library Department; and Ms. Sally Eid, Director of the Scientific Research Department), as well as a group of College staff. A notable participation from the College's students was also present, who were keen to benefit from the medical services provided and contribute to the success of the day.
