Under the auspices of Professor Dr. Ahmed Farag El-Qassad, President of the University, and Professor Dr. Ghada Hassan, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, the committee formed to evaluate the university libraries conducted field visits today, Thursday, November 6th, to the libraries of the Faculties of Science, Computers and Information, and Commerce. The committee was headed by Professor Dr. Iman Abdel-Samie, Vice Dean of the National Liver Institute, and included the following members: Professor Dr. Mohamed Saber, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Commerce for Graduate Studies and Research; Professor Dr. Amani Mogahed, Head of the Library Department at the Faculty of Arts; Professor Dr. Mohamed El-Naggar, Professor of Library Science at the Faculty of Arts; Professor Dr. Fatima Khamis, Professor of Library and Information Science; Dr. Mohamed Mosleh, Director of the Audiovisual Library; Mr. Ahmed Selim, Library Specialist at the General Administration of Libraries; and Mr. Mahmoud Hassanein, Library Specialist at the General Administration of Libraries. Also present were Professor Dr. El-Sayed El-Asrag, Director General of University Libraries, and Professor Dr. [Name Missing]. Iman Shaaban, Director of the University's College Libraries Department, and Ms. Rabab El-Gazzar, a Library Specialist in the General Administration of Libraries, were present. The committee was received by Professor Khaled Amin, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, Mr. Mohamed El-Barmawy, Director General of the College, and the library staff: Ms. Sarah Bat, Library Director; Ms. Mai El-Batnony, Library Specialist; Ms. Fatima Suleiman, Library Administrator; and Ms. Safaa Saeed, Library Administrator. It was our pleasure to welcome the esteemed members of the committee to the Faculty of Computers and Information. They were briefed on the library's activities and services, and discussed ongoing development and improvement efforts to better serve the college community. 🌿 We extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to the esteemed committee members for their visit and recognition.
