Under the patronage of: His Excellency Professor Dr. Ahmed Farag El-Qassad, President of Menoufia University The Faculty of Computers and Information at Menoufia University hosted an introductory meeting as part of a series of meetings related to the 6th State Telecommunications Conference and Innovation Competition 2026, scheduled to be held at the Egyptian Military Academy from July 26 to 30, 2026. The meeting was attended by Professor Dr. Hatem Mohamed Sayed Ahmed, Dean of the Faculty, along with the Vice Deans, faculty members, a group of postgraduate students, and several faculty members. The meeting was also honored by the presence of: Major General Dr. Ahmed Khairy, Assistant Director of the Academy and Conference Director Major General Dr. Shady El-Gohary, Advisor to the Director of the Academy for Development and Innovation Colonel Dr. Ahmed Hussein, Head of Awards The meeting was coordinated and the discussion session moderated by Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Fattah, Assistant Professor of Computer Science and member of the Conference Organizing Committee. The meeting included a presentation on the Digital Pioneers Initiative, implemented at the Egyptian Military Academy in cooperation with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. The presentation reviewed the initiative's objectives and its role in supporting and developing young talent to meet the demands of digital transformation. This meeting underscores the positive and distinguished role played by the Faculty of Computers and Information at Menoufia University, under the leadership of the Dean, in supporting innovation and strengthening scientific partnerships, thus contributing to preparing a generation capable of creativity and competition in modern technology fields.
