In an extension of the vital and important role of Menoufia University in serving the surrounding regions and environment, under the patronage of Dr. Adel Mubarak, the university president, Menoufia University convoys inaugurated a number of important guidance recommendations for farm owners from the production of poultry and its relation with the state's expanding role toward increasing the animal production in the local and international markets. The convoy made recommendations consistent with the climate of Egypt in the summer, calling on educators in large farms or small, developing poultry enterprises to be wary of high heat waves during the July and August seasons that have a major impact on poultry health that causes mortality, and food will be lifted in front of poultry in very hot periods and served after 5 p.m. With the increase in the number of watering pots and the water level to moisten the poultry body, it is preferable to use cold water, spray the walls and surfaces of the houses with water from outside in the morning to reduce the temperature, use the thermal stress antibiotics and vitamin C.

The convoy also addressed other technical recommendations, including the installation of wood curtains in the sun-prone facades, constantly moistened with water to reduce temperature and the geometric operation of bottles to take advantage of natural ventilation to reduce the effect of the high temperature.

The convoy was supervised by Dr. Ahmed Farag Alkased, Vice President of the University for higher Studies and Supervisor of the Community Service sector, and attended by Dr. Doriya Khairi, Undersecretary of the Faculty of Agriculture for Community Service and Environment Development, and Dr. Mohamed Sultan, former Undersecretary for the Community Service.
