Expatriates General Coordinator, Menoufia University meets with the Ambassador of the Republic of Djibouti in Cairo

Under the auspices of Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University, and under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Al-Qased, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Dr. Nancy Asaad, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.. Today, Dr. Salwa Fouad, General Coordinator of Expatriates Department at Menoufia University, headed to the Embassy of the Republic of Djibouti in Cairo, where she met With Mr. Ahmed Ali Berri, Ambassador of the Republic of Djibouti to the Arab Republic of Egypt and Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States, Cultural Counselor at the Embassy, ​​Ms. Khadija Mohamed Idris, and Mr. Othman Debed, the Military Attaché.


At the meeting, His Excellency welcomed Dr. Salwa Fouad, the general coordinator of expatriates at the university and the accompanying delegation. The general coordinator presented and clarified all the activities and services offered by the university and the management of expatriates for students, and the great interest in taking care of them and containing them in the faculties of Menoufia University, as well as the advantages of joining the university and facilities in residency and passport procedures.

She also indicated that the basic study system at the university is the credit hour system in most faculties without any increase in expenses, and that the special programs (with fees) are characterized by competitive prices compared to other universities.

Dr. Salwa Fouad confirmed that the university does not hesitate to provide a distinguished educational service to its students and to pay attention to all the new and distinct disciplines that suit the labor market, and that the university in its various faculties is in full swing to receive international students in the academic year 2022/2023 and that preparations for their reception have already begun, and the extent of the expatriate administration’s keenness on Overcoming all obstacles that may face international students.

Ambassador Ahmed Ali Berri expressed his great admiration for the diversity of study programs at the university. He also stressed the need to take the necessary measures for twinning between Menoufia University and the University of Djibouti, and that he is keen to convey the honorable image of Menoufia University to the concerned authorities in Djibouti.

At the end of the interview, a meeting was held with the first advisor, Mr. Mohamed Ibrahim, and the constant communication and cooperation between the Cultural Attaché and the university was emphasized in the next stage.

The meeting was attended by Mrs. Ghada Abu Al-Saud, Director of Expatriates Department, and Mrs. Heba Saleh, Researcher at Expatriates Department.
