President of Menoufia University Chairs the Quality Assurance Committee Meeting and Discusses the Readiness of Faculties for the Institutional and Programmatic Accreditation Visit in Late November

Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, chaired the meeting of the University Quality Assurance and Accreditation Committee to review the latest updates in the accreditation files of the faculties applying for institutional and programmatic accreditation. These faculties are preparing for the visit of the Accreditation Committee delegation on November 23, 2025, as part of their efforts to obtain accreditation from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation. The meeting was attended by Prof. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Nasser Abdel Bari, Vice President for Education and Students’ Affairs, Prof. Ekramy Gamal, University Secretary-General, Prof. Wafaa Zahran, Director of the Quality Assurance Center, and Ms. Souad Bayoumi, Head of the Central Administration at the President’s Office.

During the meeting, Prof. El-Kased discussed the current progress of the faculties seeking institutional accreditation, the degree of compliance with quality standards, and the completion status of their accreditation files according to the 2022 revised criteria. He emphasized the importance of meeting both institutional and programmatic accreditation requirements and highlighted the significance of international accreditation for improving competitiveness in both local and global labor markets.

The President reviewed proposed solutions to overcome challenges hindering accreditation progress and urged faculties to complete their files promptly. He also called on faculty members to adhere to the required standards to maintain the highest levels of quality assurance within the university.

El-Kased stressed the importance of conducting follow-up visits to simulate official accreditation reviews, preparing all faculties’ documentation accordingly, and ensuring readiness for the upcoming evaluation. He concluded that the university aims to achieve institutional accreditation by July 2025, marking a significant milestone in its development on the national and international higher education map.
