The meeting was attended by Dr. Sobhy Sharaf, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Nasser Abdel-Bari, Vice President for Education and Students’ Affairs; and Mrs. Soaad Bayoumi, Secretary-General of the University.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. El-Kased emphasized that Menoufia University places top priority on supporting international ranking files, sustainable development, innovation, and enhancing the scientific research system and international publishing. He also stressed the importance of caring for graduates and supporting international students, in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030, reflecting the pivotal role of universities in building human capital, supporting the knowledge-based national economy, and promoting principles of quality and institutional excellence, in addition to strengthening international openness and cooperation.

The University President explained that specialized units represent one of the most important executive and technical arms within the university, given their effective role in supporting decision-makers and providing development-oriented visions and proposals based on scientific foundations. He stressed the necessity for these units to operate according to clear and specific implementation plans that include time-bound objectives and measurable performance indicators, ensuring tangible outcomes that positively impact the quality of educational, research, and community services provided by the university.

Dr. El-Kased also emphasized the importance of strengthening coordination and integration among the various specialized units to ensure the optimal use of available human and technical resources and to maximize the benefit of the academic and administrative expertise of faculty members and staff. He highlighted the need for periodic follow-up of implemented activities and initiatives, and the submission of regular reports detailing achievements, target completion rates, and challenges, in preparation for taking corrective actions in a timely manner.

The University President affirmed his full support for the work of specialized units and the university administration’s commitment to overcoming any obstacles they may face. He noted that the coming phase requires intensified efforts, teamwork, and the consolidation of an institutional work culture, thereby enhancing Menoufia University’s position as a distinguished academic and educational institution at both the local and international levels.

He described these units as key supporters of resource sustainability and income diversification, in addition to supporting the development of academic and service programs.

He stressed the importance of preparing and implementing integrated marketing plans based on modern digital media, participating in educational conferences and exhibitions, and building strategic partnerships with local and international community institutions. These efforts aim to increase enrollment rates and maximize the university’s returns.

The University President added that specialized units bear a significant responsibility in supporting the graduates’ file by strengthening continuous communication with alumni, building and updating comprehensive databases, and linking graduates to labor market needs through organizing employment fairs, training workshops, and skills development and entrepreneurship programs. This is to be achieved in cooperation with public and private sector institutions, contributing to higher employment rates, strengthening graduates’ sense of belonging to the university, and benefiting from their expertise as ambassadors of the university in various fields.

Dr. El-Kased also emphasized the importance of activating the university’s business incubator, supporting students’ and graduates’ projects, and encouraging the establishment of startups that transform innovative ideas into productive projects serving society and supporting the national economy.

Regarding international students, the University President stressed the need to maximize the role of specialized units in promoting the university and its academic programs at the regional and international levels, facilitating admission, registration, and study procedures, and providing an integrated package of academic and advisory support services. This ensures a distinguished educational experience, enhances the integration of international students within the university campus, and organizes cultural and social activities that reflect the civilizational image of Menoufia University and reinforce Egypt’s position as a leading educational destination.
